Artist Oscar B. Oscar is based in south east Michigan, USA. He is a member of the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit, Whitdel Arts and the Scarab Club of Detroit.

Artist Statement:

I am passionate about still lifes, landscapes, figure paintings, dance and theater, portraits and interiors. Light, composition, form, flesh, color, human relationships and emotional atmosphere are important in my artwork. My interests in the visual and performing arts are fairly broad. For example, many action drawings were done at dance, music and dramatic performances.

I have lived mainly around the American midwest, and have travelled a lot internationally. My artistic development represents self-education, mostly.
